Nalini Indorf Kaplan has been serving people and companies–helping them grow–for the last 27 years.
She
has been a CPA, a serial entrepreneur, management consultant, investor,
educator, coach and wealth advisor. Over the course of her career so
far, she has created and managed three companies, and grown over $450
million in businesses for American Management Systems, Deloitte
Consulting and MasterCard International. She has acquired companies,
created win-win joint ventures, and mentored hundreds of professionals.
She has personally invested in real estate, early-stage companies and
various equity and debt markets.
Nalini
had an early mid-life crisis, brought about by the deep effect of 9/11.
She was living in New York City, worked at the World Financial Center
(right across the street from the World Trade Center), and experienced
the huge loss and wake up call of that fateful September morning.
Nalini
sought to combine her deeply spiritual path with her business world.
Ethical living, doing well by doing good and volunteer work are core to
Nalini’s beliefs. Although she had a wonderful career, she felt that
she could be doing so much more.
Tired
of seeing individual people getting ripped off by others’ greed and
ignorance get the best of people, Nalini decided to shift her focus
from Wall Street to Main Street. She started helping people take
control of their financial future and build lives of purpose, meaning
and service.
In
preparation for this calling, Nalini studied pastoral counseling,
volunteered as a chaplain and got back in touch with her Jewish roots.
To better prepare herself to coach and advise people about their money,
she spent nearly four years researching the fields of behavioral
finance, investment management and financial planning. In February
2008, Nalini founded her fee-only financial coaching and investment advisory firm, Gold Pearl Advisors LLC. In the fall of 2008, she
released her first investment education system, 10 Minute Investing.
Today,
Nalini works with individuals, couples and entrepreneurs. She helps
them develop a healthy relationship with money so they create the
